With registrations open for Rochdale Half Marathon, 10K and Fun Run 2016, Councillor Janet Emsley is appealing for everyone to consider running in aid of a good cause. After completing the fun run Councillor Emsley handed over £120 to Womens Housing Action Group – WHAG who offer housing and support to vulnerable women and men suffering domestic abuse.

“We want to make sure our residents have the best Christmas possible so we’ll be using Janet’s kind sponsorship donation to take them all out for a festive lunch this month. We need to raise money all year round to fund our work and every pound helps.”
