Sustainable and Affordable Social Housing (SASH)
WHAG offers supportive services and accommodation for women and young parents with babies who are homeless or who are at risk of homelessness, and people of all genders, children, and some pets, who are fleeing domestic abuse.

WHAG have purchased a number of properties in across Rochdale, which we will be utilising for clients which meet the support requirements of our organisational services.
The overarching primary support needs criteria is homelessness/insecure (unsafe) housing, secondary support needs to this are; Domestic abuse, Young parents, Sexual violence, Exploitation and Vulnerable homeless women.
Individuals/ Couples and Families accommodated within thses properties will be allocated provision which is a suitable size and accessible
These properties will receive both self-referrals and referrals from partner agencies, support will be provided via 1-1 support sessions delivered around our empowerment model identifying SMART goals in collaboration with the person accessing support, telephone support, online support, group programmes, tenancy support, signposting and advocacy.
The provision is short-term supported safe accommodation, the support delivery will encourage move on within a 6 month timescale however this will be a maximum of up to 18 months depending on support needs, reviewed regularly and dependent on appropriate move on accommodation.
