WHAG offers supportive services and accommodation for women and young parents with babies who are homeless or who are at risk of homelessness, and people of all genders, children, and some pets, who are fleeing domestic abuse.

Temporary homeless accommodation
A Bed Every Night was set up by the Mayor of Greater Manchester in 2018 and supports people sleeping rough in Greater Manchester or those at risk of sleeping rough. This includes people who are not eligible for statutory accommodation and those who have No Recourse to Public Funds. We have a contract with Rochdale Borough Council and currently have 8 dispersed ABEN properties.
A Support Worker also helps those in our ABEN service to help secure long-term permanent accommodation. Other support offered includes pre-tenancy sessions, these sessions include budgeting skills , avoiding debt and keeping your home safe, all helping and working towards moving into your own home.
